The idea for the Lakeside Development dates back to 2005, when three "amigos" (Bill Elliott, Alan Bruns and Mike Calhoun) met to determine the feasibility of offering "baby boomers" a cost-effective alternative to retiring in the United States or Canada. Today's economic climate has only reinforced the group's belief that they've made the right decision.

They quickly established a relationship with well-known Mexican attorney Luis Camarena Martinez, who has many years of real estate experience in the country. The best contractors and on-site workers were then brought onboard to ensure high-quality construction for the discriminating home buyer - and only the best materials are used when the homes are built.
